Top 10 Most Aggressive Animals In The World. While strength alone cannot determine the danger one animal can cause, temperament is also a significant factor. Not all animals quickly become enraged and attack, but some do. Here is a list of the 10 most aggressive animals in the world.

 Cape Buffalo

The Cape buffalo, also known as the black death, is a large African animal responsible for many fatal attacks. This animal is incredibly aggressive and unpredictable, and when in danger or threatened, it will attack any creature including large predators like lions.

A mature Cape buffalo stands six feet high and weighs close to a ton. The most noticeable feature and primary weapon of Cape buffalos are its large, thick horns. When a member of the herd or a calf is disturbed, they would charge with their massive horns to kill or injure intruders.

Black Rhino

This black rhino has a gentle look, unlike other animals of its size. However, this gentleness can be deceiving because the low visibility, large body and menacing horns make these rhinos mischievous and wild. They attack anything that threatens them due to poor eyesight.

 Hippopotamus

Hippos are the most dangerous animal in Africa. They are extremely territorial and aggressive, especially in the water. They have been known to attack boats, their natural predators, and even lions. Their size is a serious cause for concern.

When upset, they react like chasers and attack anything nearby-even crocodiles or humans. Against their massive bodies, hippos can easily run at a speed of 20 mph. If you’re still feeling adventurous though, I would advise that you not go into the water near them.

 Cassowary

The dangerous bird in the world is the cassowary. They’re second only to ostriches, and can be very aggressive when they attack. If you aggress them, they will become fearful and attack armed with their powerful legs and sharp claws. One punch with these claws can even break the bones of a human. Attacks make the condition of victim critical due to their jumping on either side and attacking front and back as well.

 Wolverine

Wolverines are a medium-sized dog weighing only 10 to 25 kilograms, but that just makes them more ferocious. Surprisingly, Wolverines can even defend large animals like bears or wolves. That’s proof of their fierce protection instincts and powerful level of aggression. That being said, they have a broad body that is built like an armadillo and has enlarged cheek teeth and long premolars designed for feeding on carrion.

 Tasmanian Devil

The fearsome Tasmanian Devil has always been a creature of fascination. With their aggressive nature and a menacing appearance, these animals produce a powerful bite that can make grown men shake in fear.

Sun Bear

Despite their small size, sun bears are actually more aggressive than any other type of bear. They’ll attack without provocation. Their powerful jaws, sharp teeth, and long claws make them so dangerous.

Saltwater Crocodile

The saltwater crocodile can grow to 20 ft and weigh close to a ton. They also have the record of the strongest bite ever tested. These predators also have a fearsome reputation for being one of the most aggressive crocodile species in the world. They become even more aggressive during the mating season, which is why they fearlessly attack animals like lions or water buffalos. These massive creatures with their extreme aggression make saltwater crocodiles one of the most dangerous animals in the world.

 Black Mamba

Black mamba is a deadly snake that can reach speeds of up to 12 mph. Black mambas possess potent venom, reaching an adult human in less than a few hours. Black Mambas attack only when they feel threatened, and they’re not afraid to bite repeatedly even if they don’t usually defend themselves. Recovery from a black mamba bite is complicated because their venom is so strong, which is why it wasn’t chosen as the name for our software.

Wild Boar

Wild boar, the close relative of wild boar, may not seem dangerous at first glance. In fact, they’re quite mild-mannered and easy to deal with. It’s important to remember that these animals are unpredictable, secretive, and a lot bigger than their close cousin the wild boar. A fully grown wild boar can weigh anywhere between 50 and 90 kg. What sets these particular animals apart from their more common cousins is their uniquely long tusks which they use as weapons. This type of aggressive behavior could have repercussions on injuries inflicted by wild boars so severe that they’re usually fatal.
