Trading on Mobile: A walk through the PrimeXBT iOS Native App

Much like with everything else, trading has evolved not just in the number of assets traded but also in how people trade. Traditionally, traders have been relying on desktop versions of trading platforms to execute their positions. This has been limiting to most market participants, to say the least. Thanks to development breakthroughs, we now have mobile-based versions of trading platforms that make trading seamless and convenient. PrimeXBT iOS, a multi-asset trading platform launched in 2018 and currently home to 80+ assets, quickly pivoted into mobile trading to give their clients an enhanced experience. For instance, if for some reason you don’t want to trade bitcoin cash because bitcoin cash is not bitcoin, there are other assets to take a position in on the PrimeXBT iOS app launched on December 13, 2019.

The app comes with lots of features and functionalities to assist you in trading. Here is a look at some of the top features and some other information you may find useful.

Signing Up and Getting Started- PrimeXBT iOS

First things first. You don’t need to be an existing PrimeXBT account holder to use the app. Simply download it and sign up to access the app home screen which is populated with trading-critical features such as multi-currency wallets, margin accounts,  as well as Covesting accounts.

There are different security options in the app. You can use a four-digit PIN of your choice or take advantage of the built-in iOS biometric authentication security features such as Touch ID and Face ID. In addition, the app was designed and developed with bank-grade security infrastructure. Security is important in trading because the last thing you would want to experience is your online account compromised and your hard-earned money nicked by hackers.

Deposits and Withdrawals

The PrimeXBT app gives traders the ability to deposit funds directly from their personal crypto wallets or through bank transfers and credit cards to their PrimeXBT account wallets – BTC, ETH, COV, USDT and USDC. You can also move funds from one wallet to another within the app (e.g BTC to ETH) using the in-wallet currency exchange feature. While you cannot use Apple credit cards for crypto purchases at the moment, new developments are coming up in the crypto world to use Apple Pay linked cards for purchases.

To begin trading, you must transfer the funds from your respective PrimeXBT wallet to your ”Trading account”.

Apart from depositing, you can also withdraw funds from your wallets using the “Withdraw” button on your app or even cancel a withdrawal made in error. The platform processes withdrawals once a day between 12:00 UTC and 14:00 UTC. Requests submitted after 12:00 UTC are processed the following day.

Margin Accounts and Trading

Trading on the iOS app gives you access to multiple margin trading accounts (Margin BTC, Margin ETH, Margin USDT, and Margin USDC).  Margin trading enables you to enjoy increased buying power thus opening larger positions than you would if you only used the funds in your account. In this way, you stand to profit if the trade goes in your favour.

However, it is also important to note that if the trade goes against your predictions, you may burn your fingers. Thanks to trading strategies such as “stop loss” and “take profit”, you can now manage the downside.

Covesting Accounts

Veterans and some of the best performing traders often share their trading strategies and benefit from follower equity profits. Through a Covesting account, both experienced traders and newbies can earn an income.

On the app, you can easily choose a trader, review and select one or more of their strategies based on performance, set the amount you want to allocate to the strategy and click to follow. You can follow more than one trader simultaneously.

If you don’t have much time or the experience to trade, Covesting will give you an opportunity to generate a passive income by following desired strategies. The Covesting copy-trading module continues to be populated with all the support tools that traders need such as creating new strategies and managing followings.

Traders can get live human support on the app all day all night, which is really important because markets don’t sleep. At any one given time, you are either trading Asia, Europe, or America.  Your questions are answered realtime whether you want to ask about a trade, deposit, withdrawal, or a feature on the app that you don’t quite understand.

The mobile application is available on the App Store to all iPhone, iPod touch, and Mac users whose devices run iOS 13.6 or macOS 11.0. The languages currently supported on the PrimeXBT iOS app are English, French, German, Italian, Spanish,  and Turkish.
